Lesser Antillean endemic.

Very rare vine of lower montane rainforest on semi-open windy ridge tops, Dennery, Praslin, Micoud.
Grenada, Guadeloupe, Montserrat, Saint Lucia.
The herbarium specimen from Dominica at the Smithsonian looks very like this species too.

Flowers observed for the first time July 2012.
