Fabaceae-Faboideae  family

Neonotonia wightii
(Graham ex Wight & Arnott) Lackey
, Phytologia 37(3): 210. 1977.
Bas.: Notonia wightii Graham ex Wight & Arnott (1834).

Naturalised/escaped vine on neglected fields at Union Agricultural station, Castries.
Observed and collected only once but present in great numbers at that time.
Native to Africa.
Soya beans were planted in the same spot the year before and Termanus labialis is common in the area. This "species' appeared in great numbers and then never reappeared. Possible hybrid?? Or perhaps introduced as a forage species?
