Amaranthaceae family

Alternanthera flavescens
, Nov. Gen. Sp. [H.B.K.] 2: 207 (qu.).  1818.

Indigenous quite rare lianoid herb of rocky dry spots in the Pitons area, often with hanging branches.
Guadeloupe, Dominica, Martinique, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, the Grenadines, Grenada, Greater Antilles, North America, Mesoamerica, South America.
Considered on many islands to be a cultivated species that escapes.  In St. Lucia, I have not observed this species in cultivation. Although often described in the Caribbean as naturalized, I believe this species is actually indigenous.
