Lesser Antillean endemic.
Robust epiphytic and lithophytic herb of semi-evergreen seasonal forest/lower montane rainforest boundary, often forming dense populations.
Very common on Gros Piton.
Saba, St. Kitts, Montserrat, Guadeloupe, Marie Galante, Dominica, Martinique, St. Lucia, St. Vincent.
This species has sometimes been misidentified as Anthurium acaule (Jacquin) Schott.
