Rare succulent of coastal cliffs and rocky coastal savanna.
Anguilla, St. Martin, St. Barthélemy, Barbuda, Antigua, Saba, St. Eustatius, St. Kitts, Nevis, Redonda, Montserrat, Guadeloupe, La Désirade, Les Saintes, Dominica, St. Lucia, rest of West Indies.
Becoming rare in accessible areas due to collection and vandalism. This species should not be collected. It rarely survives cultivation except under conditions similar to the wild. It tends to rot in pots after a couple of years.
