Naturalized herb of moist vertical rocky bank, Fond St. Jacques, Soufriere, opposite Catholic church.
Native to Bolivia, Peru, Brazil.
Very at home on moist rocky banks spreading by runners -  see image by Mamiku river where Melvin placed a single specimen.
Henry Augustin remembers this plant around rocky waterfalls in the Ravine Claire area, forty years ago. Probably still around on the steep wet rocky slopes around Ravine Claire, Xenon and Fond St. Jacques, Soufriere.
Rare cultivated ornamental.
