Manyòk chapèl Indigenous woody vine rooting in muddy areas behind beaches. Massive specimens observed north and south of the estuary of Trou Mak, Choiseul and Petit Anse, Dauphin. Guadeloupe, Dominica, Martinique, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Grenada, Greater Antilles (Hispaniola), Tobago, Trinidad, Mesoamerica, South America. A single specimen can cover a very wide area.
