Leaves sensitive to touch.
Similar to, and often in association, with Mimosa quadrivalvis  This species is not spiny, the 2 pairs of leaflets emerge at the same point, and the fruit is not long and thin.
See also Mimosa camporum which is erect and has three to many pairs of spaced-out leaflets.
